This adapter converts the TTL output signal of a linear scale to an RS-422 (EIA-422-A) differential signal, allowing TTL-based linear scales to work with digital readouts that require RS-422 input.

Compared with TTL, the RS-422 differential signal offers stronger noise immunity and supports longer cable runs, making it ideal for large machines and electrically noisy workshop environments.

Installation is simple: connect the adapter inline between the linear scale and the readout. No soldering or configuration required.

Please note: Signal conversion is one-way only (TTL → RS-422). This adapter cannot convert RS-422 signals to TTL.
