A20 Introduction

The power switch locates on the backside of the DRO. When Switched on,the DRO will enter the self-checking. After self-checking is completed, the window on the left side will display the resolution for each axis, while the window on the right side will display the machine mode. Mill applies to mill machine. Lathe applies to lathe machines. Grind applies to the Grinding machine.EDM applies to EDM machines.

The DRO will enter a self-checking process when the power is switched on. This self-checking process is to check the displaying of LED, resolution, and machine mode. Once the process is completed, the DRO will enter working status. While DRO is under the self-checking process, press ENT to enter the parameter setting.

EDM function introduction

EDM Function 1. Function Introduction This function is for EDM machining. When the current value is equal to the preset value, and the DRO will output an on/off signal to stop the EDM machining. The direction setting of the Z-axis is shown in figure 1,i.e.the depth is larger, and the value on the Z-axis will be larger. According to the set direction of the Z-axis. The machining direction gets negative and positive. When the electrode goes down, the machining direction is from upper to lower, but the value on Z-axis becomes larger. We call this a positive direction(Positive). When the electrode goes up. The machining direction is from lower to upper, and the value of the Z-axis will decrease.
